El Pueblo’s historic Avila Adobe, Italian American Museum of Los Angeles, and Plaza Firehouse have officially reopened! Visit L.A.’s oldest surviving residence from 1818,  the city’s first firehouse for professional firefighters from 1884, and IAMLA is housed in the historic Italian Hall c. 1908 and features narratives from Italian immigrants and Italian Americans that highlight their contributions to Los Angeles history, culture, and growth.

These museums are free and now open Thursday-Sunday from 10am to 3pm. We have missed our visitors and look forward to showcasing our city’s rich culture and history with you soon!
